How do I change my plan?

To make changes to your Dodo Mobile plan login to MyDodo

  1. Select your mobile from ‘My services’.

  2. Click the ‘CHANGE PLAN’ button*.

  3. From the list, select the plan you want, and click ‘SUBMIT’

 

How long does it take?

Changes to your plan take immediate effect.

 

I'm on a contract, can I still change my plan?

Contracted customers can upgrade at any time.

Switching to a lower plan may incur a plan switch fee.

 

*If you are on an older plan and are unable to change your plan online, you will need to login to MyDodo and submit an online request.

You can purchase one of the below Dodo mobile add-ons using MyDodo, select your mobile service then click the "Buy Add On" button.

Accounts signed up after 1 March 2023:

5GB of additional data

If you have run out of data, you can buy 5GB of data for only $10. If you don’t use all of the 5GB Top-up, remaining data will roll-over to the following month via Dodo Data Banking.

Add $100 International Call Credit

Get an additional $100 credit towards international calls. Click here for a list of included destinations

Please note that unused international calling credit does not roll-over to the next month.

Data Pack Add-on

The data pack add-on is only available on the $5/mth mobile plan. You can choose to purchase a $10 data pack which gives you access to 3GB. There are 2 options for the 3GB data pack:

Auto-renew data pack: Get 3GB added to your plan every month. This data pack will auto-renew at the start of your bill cycle. You can opt-out at any time though MyDodo.
One-off data pack: Get 3GB added to your plan for just the month. 3GB data will expire at the end of the bill cycle and will not auto-renew the next month.

Once your 3GB data has been exhausted, you will no longer be able to use any more data. You may choose to top up for another $10 which provides an additional 3GB of data for the remainder of the billing month. You can top up your data allowance up to 5 times within the bill cycle.

 

International Talk Pack Add-on

Get 100 international talk minutes to 35 selected countries. This pack will expire at the end of your bill cycle, and won’t auto-renew.

 

MMS Pack Add-on*

Get unlimited MMS added to your plan every month. This pack will auto-renew at the start of your bill cycle.

You can opt-out at any time through MyDodo

*Please note that you will need data in order to send an MMS.

What is Data Banking?

Usage summary

Log in to MyDodo to check your mobile usage. Select your mobile from ‘My services’ and you will see a summary of your remaining data and international calling credit.

We will also send you SMS notifications to let you know when you have 1GB of data remaining, 500MB of data remaining, an when you have exhausted your data allowance.

Once your data allowance has been used up, your mobile data speeds will be slowed to 1Mbps*. You can purchase an additional 5GB of data for $10 via MyDodo.

*If you’re on an older plan (signed up before March 1 2023) we will send you SMS notifications to let you know once you have used 50%, 85% and 100% of your included data allowance, and be subject to excess data charges. Please refer to your plan details for information on your inclusions.

Activating Voicemail

To activate your voicemail service, dial 321 on your mobile handset and press the send/call button on your phone.

This will then take you to a menu, please follow the prompts to complete the activation.

 

Deactivating Voicemail

If you wish to deactivate your voicemail service, dial ##004# or ##21# on your mobile handset and press the send/call button.

International Mobile Roaming is not available on Dodo Mobile services.


If you want to continue using your mobile phone overseas, we recommend purchasing a pre-paid SIM from a local mobile operator when you arrive at the overseas destination.

Data banking is a great feature available to Dodo mobile customers on certain plans. It allows you to bank your unused data from the previous billing period to the current billing period. Ensuring that you receive the full value from your data plan inclusions*.

Example

If you were on the 40GB plan and only used 25GB for the month, the remaining 15GB would be banked and will be added to the next month’s data allowance. Meaning you would have 55GB for the next month.

What happens if I use all my data?

Once you have used all your data your speed will slow to 1Mbps, and you won’t be charged any excess data fees! 

If you’re on an eligible Dodo mobile plan, you can purchase add on packs through your MyDodo account. Simply select your mobile service, then click the "BUY ADD ONS" button.

What’s the catch?

There is no catch, to enjoy Dodo mobile Data banking, you need to be on an eligible plan, and make sure that you monthly bill is paid on time.

Availability

Data banking is only available to customers on plans that include Data banking*.

Make sure your payments are up to date

If you have a plan that includes Data banking, failing to pay on-time will cause you to forfeit all banked data.
